The Kuleshov Effect is a film editing (montage) effect demonstrated by Soviet filmmaker Lev Kuleshov in the 1910s and 1920s. It makes viewers derive more meaning from the interaction of two sequential shots than from a single shot in isolation. This is a linear editing sequence of 3 shots with 2 variations of shot 2 to provoke different
meaning from your audience.

We decided to create our own version of the Kuleshow Effect. We used Oscar as our first short clip of him staring forward and the third shot of his reaction with a laugh. We used Poppy and Cerys for the clip in-between. for the first clip we used the scenario of Cerys being tripped over by poppy, this then provoked Oscar to laugh. For the second short clip we changed only the middle clip to Cerys being tripped over by Poppy but she fell and cried. This then was followed by Oscars laugh, this then changed the audiences perspective on Oscar and his reaction to the two incidences.
